Time to start posting stuff

Sun Aug 10, 2008, 1:53 AM
Right, I think it's about time I started posting thinks and since I the only remotely artistic thing I do is modelling, I'm going to post pics of my Warhammer armies. The fist army I'm going to be showing is the second of my Imperial Guard armies, the 2nd Cadian Parachute Battalion.

I started this army a few years after my first Imperial Guard army (which I might post some day), mainly to reinforce my image as the top Imperial Guard commander in my area by collecting tactically difficult army to use. It is modelled on the British 2nd Parachute Battalion of Arnhem and Goose Green fame. I’ve added a red top to the helmets as a refinance to the famous red berets warn by British Paratroopers, and I’ve named most of the officer after famous historical figures connected to the British Airborne forces.

So far I haven’t used this army as much as some of my other forces, but it has proven to be pretty good as the ability to deploy the whole force by deep strike if needed can upset most people’s battle plans.

I'm not saying that I've been everywhere and I've done everything, but I do know it's a pretty amazing planet we live on here, and a man would have to be some kind of fool to think we're alone in this universe.
